-- Apologies
I would first like to apologies for not updating this journal for some time. I have been caught up with school and have not had the time to really sit down and work on it. I have updated the featured photographer so please check that section out. I will try to do a more complete update some time this week.

-- Project
I think that a good first project to work on should just be a shooting exercise. I would like everyone to take their camera and one roll of film to in a room or a aria outside that is only 10 feet by 10 feet. shoot the roll in that aria only using only what is there for props. Do not change what is in the aria ahead of time just work with that you have. This is an exercise to teach you how to look for images where ever you are. Remember when you are shooting to try to visualize what your image will look like before you snap the shutter.

--Member Profiles:
To all members. I would like to ask you all several questions about the kind of photography you do and what equipment you facilities you have. Basically do you do portraits, still lift, landscapes, or something completely different? What camera(s) do you shoot with and what lenses do you have? Do you have or have access to a darkroom and do you have a film or flatbed scanner? Also any other revaluate data. This information will be posted on the members list next to you’re avatar. Keep this description short. It is not necessary to use full sentences. Please note the club with this information as soon as possible.

--Featuring Work:
I have see on other clubs that members work is often featured in the club gallery. I would like to feature members work in this way. Originally I was working in order through the list, however, this time I would like to work on first come bases. I will feature a deviation from the first person that notes me than the second and so on. No one person can have t images featured until every person who wants to be featured has been. I would encourage every member to participate in this. Their will me notice to all members before the process in repeated. There will be a new peace featured every several days. All images must be film based.

Lewis Carroll is perhaps most well known fro his writing, such as "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking-Glass" but what most people don't know is that he was also an avid photographer. Carroll's style of portraiture was years ahead of its time of the mid 1800s. I hope that all of you will study some of these techniques and learn what you can from this brilliant person.
